Firm Profile

Fete Nature Architecture, PLLC (FNA)  is a vital, collaborative architecture firm and our process is founded on research and investigation of new ways to inhabit the urban fabric. This method of working is informed by an aptitude for green technologies, FEMA resiliency, materiality, and unique fabrication methods.

Our firm is authentic and thorough in approach, maintaining a clear, strong voice, yet versatile and collaborative to adjust to the unique needs of any given challenge.

In 2012, FNA completed the first Certified Passive House in NYC and we continue to stay at the forefront and design passive house projects, apply passive house strategies, and lecture about this proven approach to energy-efficiency. We work on all scales of commercial, residential, institutional work while also focusing on research and social justice projects.

FNA has also partnered with Sebastian Moreno-Vacca, an architect based in Brussels, who is at the center of the Belgian revolution of large-scale Passive House buildings. Together we partnered to take on design projects of large-scale in NYC. Our joint venture is MMA. Currently, we teach a Hyper-Efficient Building Workshop at the Center for Architecture in NYC.

FNA is part of a team of architects along with WXY Studio working on Hurricane Sandy Build It Back projects in Brooklyn for NYC DDC and FEMA.
