Welcome. FNA offers architecture design services from their growing office in Brooklyn, NY. If you have a potential architecture project - we would love to speak with you about it.
Fete Nature Architecture, pllc (FNA) is a vital, collaborative architecture firm and our process is founded in research and investigation of new ways to inhabit the urban fabric. This method of working is informed by an aptitude for green technologies, FEMA resiliency, materiality, and unique fabrication methods. We prioritize good design and collaboration while bringing to the forefront issues of energy-performance and sustainability.
FNA completed the first Certified Passive House in NYC in 2012 and we continue to design passive house projects and lecture about this proven approach to energy-efficiency. FNA works on all scales of commercial, residential, institutional work while also focusing on research and social justice projects. The firm is authentic and thorough in approach, maintaining a clear, strong voice, yet versatile and collaborative to adjust to the unique needs of any given challenge.
FNA has also partnered with Sebastian Moreno-Vacca, an architect of A2M based in Brussels, who is at the center of the Belgian revolution of large-scale Passive House buildings. Together we are partnered to take on design projects of large scale in NYC. Our joint venture is MMVA.
FNA is licensed in NY, NCARB certified, LEED accredited professional, and Certified Passive House Tradesperson - Building Envelope. Julie Torres Moskovitz, is director and principal architect of FNA. Prior to forming FNA, Torres Moskovitz was principal of Fabrica718 - a design firm established in 2006. FNA has WBE paperwork in process.
